Global Talent Trends: New Research Opportunity

By Josh Bersin

One of the biggest challenges we hear from our clients is “how do I effectively globalize” my HR and talent programs?

As we described at IMPACT last year, the world has become both highly connected and very uneven. Fast growing economies like China, Eastern Europe, and Brazil have drastically different labor markets and skill sets than our home countries. Their demographics and education levels, culture, and economies are all different – forcing us to create a “globally local” process for HR and talent management.

To help you understand this global marketplace for talent we are embarking on an ambitious global research program: The 2014 Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends study.

Working with our Deloitte partners around the world, we are going to assess the local talent challenges, readiness, and solutions in global markets from region to region. As part of this study we hope to give you deep insights on the challenges, solutions, and opportunities you have in each region of the world.

And as part of this effort, we need your help.

As a participant in this study you will not only receive a copy of the findings, but you will also be invited to a series of webinars and other events to discuss the findings. The research survey will take 10-15 minutes of your time and we ask that you take it on behalf of your whole organization. If you feel others in your company should participate, please forward it to them – we will be aggregating data by organization.

I want to thank you for your support of this research – we expect it to be an exciting study and look forward to sharing results with you early next year.
